Introduction
Have a question about the Library? Need to find information about a topic? Want to know how to use the electronic databases? The Research Services staff at Roberts-LaForge Library seeks to answer all of these questions and more. The department’s mission is to help patrons locate and evaluate information using a variety of print and electronic sources. The Research Services librarians answer all forms of library-related questions, create various written guides, and regularly conduct orientations and instruction sessions that help facilitate the research process. The Research Services staff also assists in developing the library’s print and electronic resources.
The Research Services department is located on the first floor to the right of the library’s entrance. Normally at least one Research Services librarian is on duty during library hours. Services
We offer a consultation service called “Research Services by Appointment.” This service is open to Delta State University faculty, staff, or students who need assistance identifying and using print and electronic resources available in Roberts-LaForge Library. This service is designed for those with in-depth questions who would like to talk one-on-one with a Research Services librarian. There are three ways to schedule an appointment:
